Fish
Fish is an excellent source of protein that our bodies need to grow and develop. In particular, sea fish has a lot of Omega-3 fatty acids, these fatty acids are very important to prevent heart disease, strokes, some cancers and are good for the brain.
It is very easy and quick to cook, it can be fried in a small amount of oil in a pan or it can be added to stews and casseroles.
Fish, such as omena is full of vitamins and minerals, especially Calcium and Phosphorus, which we need for healthy bones and teeth. Omena is a great thing to eat when you are pregnant. It helps with healthy brain and spinal chord development of the foetus, and provides lots of Calcium for healthy bones.
Try to eat fish twice a week. It is a healthy and affordable source of animal protein.
